Sunday afternoon saw our group gather at the magnificent tomb of Mughal emperor Humayun, which was built by his wife Bega Begum in 1572 in grief over his death.Little was known then that an emperor’s grief over his beloved would give the world yet another remarkable piece of architecture within the next 70 years in the form of Taj Mahal. A monument which expresses, glorifies, and symbolizes love, in a way no other man could do except for Shah Jahan. By binding and sculpting his memory of Mumtaz Mahal into the Taj, Shah Jahan continues to remind the world of his love constantly through the last 4 centuries… a memory that made us dig through the depths of the pages of history to present this story today despite it being so popular. For those of you who were there, we hoped we could give you a fresh perspective into this unique love story. For those of you who missed it , there shall be another time. Until then let’s think of the Taj again.. smile emoticon

Few of those who left before this group picture are really being missed 🙂
